i got a problem. i did everything in this tutorial basically. only thing is. when i try and install it asks to save it into a directory and then, says “invalid path chosen, please choose again” can someone please help me!!!!

Hey dude ,
Thanx for the great tutorial !!

I got everything working if a play a normal game ! However I use Garena when I play Warcraft online. and Garena basically takes the “war3.exe” icon instead of the default “FrozenThrone.exe” icon and when I right-click on the “war3.exe” icon, select Properties, then click on the Launcher tab.I cannot find the place to put the command of the -openGL because it is not a launcher as i said before.

SO here is my question ? Is there an option in wine or Do you know how to make all the games in wine to be an -opneGL defaulted without going to the icon and then inserting the -openGL comand ??

Have you tried doing a fresh install using this tutorial? I personally can’t test your setup since I don’t work with Windows machines.

It would help if you could take a look at the wine outputs in terminal to see if there’s anything.

My advice is to first try doing a fresh install. Just follow the instructions on this post.:)

can you help me on this .. i copied my warcraft 3 file from my windows and pasted it on the program files of wine but when i run war3 just give a warcraft 3 logo then nothing happens
